Which is better tyranitar or garchomp

Just a side note i did a calculation and Garchomp's top fighting move Brick Break still doesn't kill Tyranitar. I wonder why people think that just because something kills something else that makes it the superior sweeper. Both of them r very strong. So it's a tough choice.
